How a score moves.

  • An active exposure removed adds about 0.3 to 1.5 points depending on severity and category.
  • A new breach matched against your email subtracts about 4 to 8 points.
  • A dark-web hit subtracts about 8 to 12 points, sustained until the hit ages out (ninety days after no fresh signal).
  • A Telegram channel hit subtracts about 3 to 6 points, sustained until removal or ninety days.
  • Image misuse on an adult or scam site subtracts about 10 points, sustained until removal.
  • A Section 12 notice sent adds 0.2 points (small but real, because exercising rights is part of the score).
